We recently had another go at a Nigella Lawson recipe... This time it was her Ice Cream Cake served with a warm chocolate sauce. It was easy and eaten with happy faces.
First, the warm chocolate sauce:
Break up two dark chocolate bars and place in a pan on the stove and add 2 tablespoons of butter unsalted. Cover slightly in a pan on the stove with heavy cream and turn burner on to low.
Watch the ingredients turn to chocolate sauce before your eyes....
Perfect and delicious for many a recipes....
This is a pretty basic sauce, but I'm sure it would be delicious with almost anything. I'd probably just eat it plain--haha. Strawberries anyone?
