I had never tried to make a galette until this weekend and rest assured that I will again be making a galette for next weekend.
Last week I was sifting through recipes for inspiration when I stumbled across the following and just knew I had to have a go. Butternut Squash and Carmelized Onion Galette on Smitten Kitchen.

my sister introduced me to galettes with a butternut squash and garlic filling. i love them! roasted and mushed squash and garlic have to be one of the best fillings for anything.
